All Turpin Communication training courses focus on the basics by helping
participants prepare and deliver listener-sensitive presentations more quickly and
effectively.
| We begin with goal setting, both
organizational goals and personal goals.
From there we break the presentation and facilitation process down
three into steps:
|
- engaging with the audience through physical and vocal delivery
- organizing content and developing visual aids
- encouraging and controlling group interactions.

| Because few participants in our workshops are starting from
scratch, we: |
- assess your current approach and skill level at each stage
- offer practical, personal advice for continued development
|
| Experiential Environment: We believe in
hands-on, experiential training. Within the safe environment of our workshops
you’ll explore new techniques and discover what works best for you.
Videotaping and video coaching: All of
our workshops involve video taping and private, instructor-guided tape
review. In a typical two-day class, you will be taped five or six times. Each
taping, and the group feedback sessions that follow them, lasts from 10-20
minutes, depending on the number of people in the workshop. After each
taping, you’ll review your videotape privately with an instructor, receiving
further feedback and direction. Our approach ensures
thorough, supportive, collaborative and personal training.

organizational strategy that can be used again and again for a

| Written follow-up: After
you’ve completed your workshop you’ll receive: |
- A personal letter from your instructors reviewing the work
we did and the recommendations we made during your class.
- Up to four hours of coaching from one of our instructors,
free of charge for one year after your workshop.
